Data management training
In 2023, SLGO offers new trainings in data management!
This first training, lasting two hours, mainly focuses on the management of biodiversity data and metadata and will also address certain notions of physical-chemical data. It aims to provide information on data management standards (OBIS, Darwin Core and ISO standards) as applied in the context of the Canadian Integrated Ocean Observation System (CIOOS), on the structuring of databases and on certain basic concepts of open access data. To meet contextual requirements, training will be given online via the Zoom platform.
Additional training topics are currently being developed. More information will be available soon.
This training is currently only offered in French. However, if you are interested and wish to receive it in English, it is possible! Please contact SLGO by writing to info@ogsl.ca for more details.
