ERDDAP
ERDDAP (Environmental Research Division’s Data Access Program) is an open source data server accessible via a web interface and implemented by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). It is a tool used for the dissemination of standardized and interoperable data. ERDDAP is used by many organizations around the world including CIOOS – SIOOC, the U.S. Integrated Ocean Observing System, the Polar Data Catalog, CNRS and NOAA.
Its use tends to become widespread in the dissemination of scientific research data. It allows the scientific community to use identical file formats for the databases and a common nomenclature, especially for the metadata.
