Data collected using a water bottle sampler. The water samples are collected with bottles that are closed at predetermined depths. A series of analyses are then carried out on the samples, the most common of which determine the concentrations of dissolved oxygen, nutrients, and chlorophyll a as well as the phytoplankton species composition.
