USER'S GUIDE-Step-by-step instructions
Follow the three steps listed below to obtain data from the system.
1.  Building a query
This step involves entering information following the instructions on each of the tabbed pages. The information that you enter identifies the data sets that you are looking for in the system.
2.  Submit a query
To submit a query, you click the button Bouton pour la soumission d'une requête. A window opens where you must specify your user name, your password, and a valid e-mail address. To be able to submit your queries and obtain the data, you must have previously registered and obtained a user name and password.
3.  Retrieving data
After submitting a query, you will receive an e-mail message telling you how to obtain a copy of the data. This message contains a summary of the query parameters as well as the URL address where the data are located. You may click on the hyperlink and a ".ZIP" file containing the data will be downloaded to your computer.
The maximum number of data files that can be downloaded is 500. While building your query, the number of data files meeting the current query specifications is shown on the lower bar. You can thus adjust your query to assure that you have 500 files or fewer. This limit may be re-examined in the future.
